So what is the

#NoNegativity Challenge exactly?

Phiippians 4:8 says, "Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things."

Many of us are at least familiar with this scripture, but fail to execute it in every day life. And because we fail to do that, we fail to see what Paul promises in verse nine and that is God’s peace that surpasses all understanding. Well it’s time out for that!

This year and every year from here on out, we will see the supernatural peace of God in our lives and in this world because we will say NO to negativity.

Some practical ways to apply that are:

    • Be thankful
    • Study the Good News, before you read the daily news.
    • Pray
    • Confess the Word of God over your life.
    • Forgive yourself.
    • Strive to be like Christ
    • Think the best of others
    • Don’t fight petty with petty. Be patient... and quiet.
    • Encourage and evangelize
    • Embrace being contagious
    •  Know the difference between facts and the truth
    • Write and speak the vision
    • Determine to be a thermostat and not a thermometer
    • Raise your expectations
    • Be flexible and open to the Holy Spirit… God can and will use you!

#NoNegativity Confession

Today is a day of celebration! I will be glad because God has made provision for me and this day.  I am grateful because God has already provided everything I need to accomplish what He has called me to do. I am His and He is mine. Together we are unstoppable. I am whole and full of purpose. I am focused. I forgive myself and others of past mistakes and leave them in the past. I will speak well of those I encounter and encourage them in their pursuits. I will not be petty. Instead, I will love and edify. I will be patient with others and myself. My attitude is contagious, so I will be positive and think on God’s Word. God’s truth outweighs any natural fact, so my future is secure and full of promise. I expect God to move on my behalf as I listen to Him. I am a world changer! The world needs my godly perspective in order to know him. Therefore, I am positive and reject any negativity that comes my way.
